The ISC RP051 is a cast aluminum block made from an aluminum alloy. This material makes it incredibly light but strong. Its aluminum alloy bushings and sheaves are supported by stainless steel axles.
The block has spring-lock captive bushings, which are easily accessed by a quick-twist knob. The sheave is supported by a sintered bronze bushing. Its side plates are broad enough to protect lines during use, and is painted with a powder coated finish.
